Fog pouring over twin peaks, around Sutro Tower
Climbed with April and Mick up to Bernal’s peak after a (disappointing) “urban arts” festival down in La Precita. Fog was rolling over the hillside and tumbling into the valley. Wind up top was enough to lean against.

Critical Mass, SF May 29th (Lombard St!)
What started as an underwhelming ride turned quite enjoyable when we climbed up to the top of Russian Hill and poured down single file through the famous serpentine on Lombard St. Almost ten minutes nonstop. Biked with Dan & met a pair of Nebraskans who had come into town and rented bikes just to join Critical Mass.
Ride to Crissy Field / 22 bus to Castro, & Ride Home
Biked 9 miles Wednesday afternoon, from work to the Sports Basement in the Presidio where I signed up for Team in Training. Jumped on the 22 to avoid climbing over the entire city but left myself Castro hill (330ft climb over 1 mile).
Hawk Hill / Bonita Point Lighthouse bike ride (w/ Dan)
25+ mile ride over Golden Gate bridge, climbing up to Hawk Hill, circling down to Fort Cronkhite and Bonita Point lighthouse, riding back through Battery road (the 1-way tunnel) and passing by Baker beach in Presidio.
